I have been selling on ebay for over 10 years now.I'm so excited to have finally written a book about it and now, my dream come true - a blog to share all my daily and weekly thrifting experiences with the world!
For people new to me and my work, I go shopping at thrift stores and sell my unearths on ebay. I even owned and operated my own clothing boutique for a couple of years ( unfortunately , I had to close thanks to the down economy ). Best of all, I actually research ebay auctions, to learn whats hot on the ebay market.
I love shopping at thrift stores for brand name clothing. Often times what you find at these shops is either brand new or in like new condition.
So, I'm taking two days a week and go shopping at local thrift stores. I spend about 5-6 hours a week at these stores total per week, and then another few hours'detailing' ( cleaning, pressing, stitching on missing buttons, etc ) the clothes then photographing them, editing those footage, creating the auctions, handling the sales and finally, shipping them out after they sell. It's the perfect job for me while I raise my ten month old baby girl! I do a large amount of my work after she goes to sleep - minus the shopping part, naturally.
I have always known that once I had the time to spill all my money making secrets, everybody would want to do that. You'll be amazed at how easy this is. I believe this blog will be a great supplement to the book I wrote ( which of course, you're going to buy, right? ). My book covers the express brands and how well they do on ebaymy blog will just share random finds with you and hopefully new stuff that I find to be valuable, and also pointers on the way to list those items that I have told you to buy in my book.
